Brownback's tax cut in 2012 was an absolute disaster that resulted in hurting the residents on a massive scale, so of course there's going to be a hard push in the other direction. Fuck, it's not any different than Bernie's success in the primaries or Trump's victory in the general in regards to the Rust belt/midwest states. People are pissed off at the status quo and haven't seen results through the typical "two party" system, so they are looking to the edges for an alternative, be it populism or socialism or whatever. --- |
